Lumini is built so you stay in control. Here is exactly what happens with your data:
- Lumini only listens when you hold Ctrl+Option. There is no always-on microphone. No eavesdropping.
- Screenshots are sent to the AI provider only to answer your question, then immediately discarded. Lumini does not store your screenshots — not on your Mac, not on our servers, nowhere.
- Your voice transcriptions are processed to understand your request and then discarded. We do not keep recordings of what you say.
What we collect
Account email (if you sign in for a paid plan), usage counts (voice minutes and approved actions) for billing purposes, and crash reports to fix bugs. That's it.
What we do NOT collect
We do not track what you ask Lumini. We do not store your screen content. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models. There is no analytics tracking what buttons you click or how you use the app.
AI providers
When you ask Lumini a question, your query and a screenshot (if needed) are sent to third-party AI providers to generate a response. Those providers have their own privacy policies. Your data is used only to answer your request and is not retained for training.
Children
Lumini is not intended for children under 13. If you are between 13 and 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to use Lumini.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. You can export your data. You can stop using Lumini at any time.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
